Join us in our healing room for a hot stone massage using your choice of either Himalayan salt stones or Basalt stones. This is a 45 min session for an exchange of $115 plus tax Hot stone massage is an ancient practice that uses heated natural basalt or Himalayan salt stones that are placed on precise points along the body. The stones warm and relax your muscles, allowing to create soothing pressure and relief of sore muscles and promote overall wellness. The practitioner will often use circular movements, kneading, long strokes and vibrations to aid in relaxation. How to prepare prior to massage - It is important to drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment to ensure your body is well hydrated as the heat from the stones can make you sweat which can dehydrate your body. You should also avoid alcohol and caffeine 24 hours prior to you massage to also avoid extra dehydration. Aftercare of hot stone massage - Hot stone massage has a very detoxifying effect on the body, be sure to drink plenty of water following your session to prevent dehydration and to help move toxins through your system. It is also best to avoid caffeine, nicotine and alcohol for the next 24hrs. It is not mandatory to shower after your massage however some people prefer to take a warm shower to help aid in relief. You may also feel tired from being relaxed during your session so it may be best to go home if you can and continue to have a restful day, trying not to engage in stressful activity.

Cancellation Policy

We kindly require a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellation of any appointments, cancellation of any appointment does not mean a refund is applicable. All appointments must be rebooked as soon as possible. An admin charge may apply of $20.00 if the owner feels its applicable.
